Construction is now underway on the first section of the Jacks Point to Frankton cycle trail, creating an exciting new connection between Woolbrae and the wider Queenstown Trail network.
The initial works are progressing well, linking the existing trail network from Hanley’s Farm through Woolbrae’s recreation reserve to Park Ridge. Once complete, this connection will provide a safe and scenic route for walking and cycling, strengthening links between Woolbrae, Hanley’s Farm, Jacks Point, Park Ridge and beyond.
As part of the Queenstown Trails Trust’s broader vision for connected, active communities, the trail will make it easier for residents to access local schools, amenities and employment hubs without relying on a car — adding another dimension to the lifestyle on offer at Woolbrae.
