Riverside sits within the wider Tauriko West growth area, a future community to live, learn, work and play locally at Tauriko West. If you’ve driven through Tauriko recently, you’ll have seen the transformation underway, including major SH29 upgrades from Redwood Lane to Cambridge Road to unlock this next phase of growth.
This year also defined Riverside’s identity. The neighbourhood was named, branded, and introduced to the market, with a story inspired by the land itself. The river’s flow, native planting, and woven connections influenced a brand that reflects strength, movement, and community. This vision came to life with the launch of the Riverside website, the first step in sharing the story widely.
On site, earthworks are progressing for the first stages and Te Ara Hoa Drive (Riverside’s new spine road) is visible and operating. Over time, this road will extend to the river and connect through to Redwood Lane, forming the backbone of the neighbourhood.
Reaching this point has taken a huge collective effort. Thank you to everyone who has played a part so far.
Looking ahead to 2026: civil works for Stage One kick off early in the year, with roads, lighting, and infrastructure shaping the first stages. Later in the year, we’ll begin conversations with Build Partners who will be bringing the first homes to market in 2027.
From all of us at Riverside, thank you for being part of the journey. Wishing you and your whānau a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday season. Here’s to an exciting 2026—we can’t wait to share what’s next!
